Eurogamer has reported that according to Mythic's boss Mark Jacobs, one of the four classes yet to be included in Warhammer Online Gold is set to be cut from the game entirely.

The details are as below:

Last week, the developer announced it would be reinstating two of the four careers it cut form the game back in July. Later this year, Warhammer Online Gold players will get a chance to play as the Empire's Knight of the Blazing Sun on the Order side, and the Dark Elf Black Guard on the Destruction side.

Of the two remaining originally planned careers, the Dwarf Hammerer and Greenskin Choppa, one is set to return to the game at a later date, but the other will be replaced by an as-yet unknown class.

"Well, one of them we hope to put back in," Mark Jacobs told Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz when he spoke to us last week.

"I can't tell you which yet, that's a surprise. We're probably going to be replacing one and putting in another class in its place. But we'll be talking about that in a few months."

Apparently Mythic has high standards for what it wants to put into the game, and one of the classes didn't make the grade.

"When we cut them out, one of the things we said is that if we can't make those classes great we're not putting them back in, and one of the careers we just couldn't get great," he explained.
