This guide is designed as a true “Complete Guide to SealMaster” in Tales of Pirates
I’m including some things that while not being strictly SealMaster related definitely need to be covered in order to make your SealMaster a well rounded character.
Being a SealMaster means you can pick and choose who you party with. As a SealMaster you carry your own firepower, and your own ability to heal. Not to mention all the cool spells that come with the territory.
I.Choose Phyllis as your SealMaster character for Tales of Pirates Gold. Yes Ami advances a bit faster in some areas but I’ve tried Ami, and personally I just couldn’t get my head around her appearance, she may be a better character for magic but if you don’t enjoy playing as something, your not going to put the time into it that’s necessary for you to advance.
>> Select Shaitan City as your hometown, this is where your character will be advancing to Herbalist, and later SealMaster, this is also where you will buy all of your skill books and armor so get familiar with the territory:
>>Pay attention to where everything is, and I mean everything: Monsters, Tales of Pirates Gold Quest givers, Towns, what monsters drop items that you like, when you get the coordinates write them down in a notebook so that you can easily reference them later, this will save you a lot of time, and frustration later in the game.
Levels 1-9
>> Go to the Newbie Guide Resline at (876,3572) Shaitan City, and follow her instructions. Do all of the newbie quests (don’t forget to click on the box in your inventory and equip the free weapons and armor) this will quickly advance you through level 9, at which point your going to select the “Herbalist Promotion” Quest from the Newbie Guide.
>>Also; talk to Newbie Guide for Obtaining Star of Utility this is not going to make any difference until you reach lvl 50 in Tales of Pirates Gold game but do it now and equip it in your ring slot you’ll be building it’s percentage levels in the meantime.
