You could say that Kitsu Saga is a Grand Fantasia underneath a different skin. With it being a 3D fantasy MMORPG with a martial arts theme it brings about a large world to explore with a fairly good attractive style; the graphics are thoroughly decent which is visually easy on the eyes. It is published by Aeria Games in the west, while being published by X-Legend a Korean Company in the East.
As a closed beta tester of this new game, I will be highlighting several areas in which I have found the progression of the game to be unique and rewarding.
First off I would like to say that Kitsu Saga transforms players into martial artists who train under their faction's school and become bred warriors who are to defend their realms from evil. Along the way you'll be joined by the Kitsu who are a tribe of Fox like spirits. The Kitsu are able to perform in battle by providing their magic (aura capturing skills - as well as other skills such as increased movement). The capturing of aura allows for the crafting of higher level Kitsu(s) to take place. Furthermore, there's interaction between you and your Kitsu which will allow you to obtain powerful items and interesting artefacts.
There are two factions in Kitsu Saga, those being the Order of the Iron Claw and the Flamewind Society. I am not going to go in-depth into the story line but basically the two factions were pitted against one another and were content on killing one another however a dark power emerged and the factions were forced to call a truce to work against the followers of the Golden Dharma King. You are able to select one of the two factions when creating your character. Each faction has four distinct classes called disciplines - you get to choose what discipline you want within in game via quests.
After you have selected your faction you must choose your gender and pick from three body types. Both gender and body type do play a role within the game and each effect is different for the combination made. Now there is a growth trend that you can choose from, there are 5 choices in all. There are a ton of hair styles, Kitsu Saga Gold hair colours, skin colours and eye colours that are available - I would suggest planning ahead to recommend that you have the most efficient character by choice.
