GPotato launched the Trial of the Ancestors Expansion for the manga-style free browser-based social MMO, Canaan Online. The expansion introduces a large collection of welcomed features that are sure to make the game even more enjoyable.

Foremost, for those that are interested in new features that aren't combat related, there is something for you in this expansion. Trials of the Ancients introduces the idea of marriage into the game. When players chose to tie the knot, they'll be able to choose between a variety of gifts to give to their guests. These gifts include wedding dress, suit, rings,Canaan Gold fireworks and other gifts. Besides holding a status to show off to all of your friends, and other players, married couples will extra experience and gold when they adventure together.

Another non-combat feature that was added with the expansion is that players will now be able to fly. For example, they can ride on a magic carpet or use demon's wings, which will allow them to cover terrain much faster.

For those of though with bloodlust, no problem, the expansion also holds something for you. Trial of the Ancients has increased the max level cap from level 80 to level 100. The game world has also been extended to include a new zone, Sunmill, two new dungeons, and the Tower of Ancestors challenge instance.

The two new dungeons, Elven Secret Mausoleum and Heart of the Devil, will present players with new tests to try their skill and fighting prowess. The Tower of the Ancestors challenge instance contains six different levels to complete and offers top tier equipment as the reward.

The expansion also contains new features for guilds. Guilds will now be able to construct buildings, such as the Headquarters and the Bank. These buildings will allow guild members to partake in new daily quests. Guilds will now also be able to fight each other for the rights to certain resource areas and pit themselves against each other in the great Prestige battle.
