Iris Online, which features its tarot system, officially entered its. Along with the release of the OBT, Episode I the Magician was also made public. The following is an OBT report from a Japanese player, mainly introducing two special systems in Iris Online: monster transformation system and tarot divination system and some updated contents for the OBT, including Theme Dungeons (Hard Mode), elite monster transformation, new mounts and anti-cheat system.

The game is set in a continent called Anais. The evil force Sahel from the outer dimension has been threatening the safety and tranquility of the continent. To protect their homeland, players representing forces of fire, water, wind and earth begin to declare war on the evil force.

Iris Online offers three playable races: Human, Beast and Elf. In the beginning, (Iris Online Gold)each race has two rank 1 classes. When characters achieve a certain level, they can promote to be rank 2 and rank 3 classes. Two weapons are provided for each class to choose from and different weapons are corresponding to different skill trees.

As soon as players reach level 10, they can choose to join one of the four forces: Fire, Water, Wind and Earth. Different forces will fight against each other, but not all players have to take part in. As for PVP modes, aside from the sham battle against Sahel, there are another two modes: Death Match and Flag. The Flag mode requires players to capture the opponent's flag.
