Iris Online, in its beginning, was a utopia, a world with an abundance of Mana, the life energy that surrounds all things. Iris was home to magestic fields and forest, captivating waterfalls and oceans, and breathtaking mountainscapes that surrounded the beautiful world. Each of these landscapes housed a diverse array of unique animals that inhabited Iris. Two in particular grew to great power. The gracefull Elves of the forest, with their ways of hunting and gathering, and mastery of the manipulation of mana to produce magic, and the Beastmen, the powerful warriors of the mountains, who's raw power was only matched by their animalistic appearance. These two great races lived in complete isolation of each other for centuries. As the Elven woodlands started to near the great mountains of the Beastmen, the isolation soon crunbled. For a time, the two races lived peacefully, using each other's talents to build greater nations for them to bask in the glory of. Soon, many debates over who the superior race ensued, the Elves claiming their innate ability to shape Mana made them better, the Beastmen assuming their raw physical power would prove more advantageous, soon after, the two races waged an all encompassing war.
It's been more than a thousand years since the great war between the Elves and the Beastmen, leaving the world in shambles. The king of the Beastmen disappeared and the tribes disbanded, their once great nation toppled. The Elve's reclused to what was left of their forests. In the middle of the battlefield,(Iris Online Gold) a great tree arose. The tree's roots tapped into the great Mana reserves of the planet Iris. As time went on, the solitary tree rose to great heights, piercing the cloud tops with its immense presence. It restored Iris to its former beauty by reshaping the world around it. From the tree sprouted buds, none like any others on Iris, as these buds grew, the gave shape to a new creature unlike any other. These creatures grew to resemble both the Beastmen and the Elves. The were smaller than the other's, and less defined in appearance, they lacked the Elves natural grace or the Beastmans animalistic features, yet, they were adaptable, able to exist in almost any environment. The Beastmen were the first to approach this new race, which had called itself Humes, the Beastmen instructed them in the ways of raw force and power, and the humans took away much from the experience, but kindly left the Beastmen, not feeling at home in the mountains the lined Iris once again. When the Hume's stumbled into the Elven lands, they learned of the manipulation of Mana and showed an affinity for casting magic, something the Beastmen could not do. In time, the Hume's came to leave the great Elven forest's and started to settle lands of their own, constructing great cities as monuments of their soon great empires. This story begins in one of those great citie's the Humes went on to build, named Terminus.
