We just made an interview with Black Prophecy's product manager Francois, who told us some interesting features of the game. Check it out.
MMOsite: Thank you for taking some time to do the interview with us, first of all could you introduce yourself to us?
Francois: My name is Francois and I'm the product manager responsible for Black Prophecy.
MMOsite: Black Prophecy was nominated for the Best Online Game of Gamescom 2010. What's special about the game?
Francois: In comparison to the other online games that were nominated, Black Prophecy seems to have attracted the jury mostly because of its overall concept. The eye-catching graphics with real-time action combat packed up in a classic massively multiplayer online game might have been the deciding factors for Black Prophecy’s (Black Prophecy Gold)nomination for this special award.
MMOsite: People usually compare Black Prophecy with EVE online, what's your comment on these two games?
Francois: We hear this comparison quite often and again can only say that both games are two different cups of tea. Black Prophecy is a twitch-based space action MMOG that really can't be compared to any other MMOG currently on the market.
MMOsite: I know that players' ships are made of different modules, and I can combine them freely, but is it completely free? What if I want a big left wing and a small right wing (just an example:P)?
Francois: To a certain extent, yes. While ship parts become larger in appearance with increasing levels, there is a limitation for attaching those parts to your ship. This means that you won’t be able to attach a high-level wing and a low-level wing because of the large gap between the parts’ levels.
